Policies & Standards

The purpose of healthcare policies and procedures is to provide standardization in daily operational activities. They provide clarity when dealing with issues and activities that are critical to health and safety, legal liabilities, and regulatory requirements.

Our Policy Manual outlines the policies and procedures that will inform our daily operational activities and demonstrates our commitment to this end. Each policy and procedure contains a number of topics or areas of knowledge that carers or support workers need to know about before they can work safely without close supervision.

These policies and procedures are communicated to all employees during induction and a manual handbook will be issued and will be reviewed annually to ensure they address advances in healthcare and meet minimum statutory requirements.

Specialized training exists to ensure that all workers are qualified to the appropriate level in specialized areas.
